How to Charge the RAZ VUE 50K Pod – Complete Guide
Everything you need to know — from setup to full charge — so you never run out of power at the wrong moment.
In This Guide
If you just bought a RAZ VUE 50K, you’ve probably noticed right away that it’s not like other disposable vapes. Most disposables are simple: you use them until they die, then throw them away. But the VUE 50K is different. It uses a two-part system — a refillable or replaceable pod and a rechargeable power bank / battery device. This often leads to some confusion, especially around charging.
Do you charge the pod itself? Does the pod have its own battery? And what happens when the battery runs out?
Section 01
Does the RAZ VUE 50K Pod Actually Need Charging?
Yes — but not the way you think. The VUE 50K pod does contain a built-in 420mAh battery that powers the heating element (the coil) so you can vape. However, the pod itself has no charging port. You cannot plug a cable into the pod.
Instead, the pod’s battery gets recharged automatically when it’s attached to the separate battery device (the power bank). Here’s how the system breaks down:
- ✓The pod has its own small 420mAh battery
- ✓The battery device (power bank) has a larger battery and a USB-C port
- ✓The pod charges through the battery device when connected
Section 02
What You’ll Need Before You Start
- ✓The RAZ VUE 50K battery device (the rechargeable power bank that comes with the kit)
- ✓The RAZ VUE 50K pod (attached to the device)
- ✓A USB-C charging cable (most modern phone cables work fine)
- ✓A standard USB wall adapter (recommended — or use a laptop/power bank in a pinch)

Step-by-Step: How to Charge the RAZ VUE 50K
Once you understand that you’re charging the device (not the pod), the process becomes very simple. Follow these steps exactly.
If your pod isn’t already connected to the power bank, now is the time to do it. Look at the bottom of the pod — you’ll see two or more metal connectors. Inside the battery device, you’ll find matching contact points.
Align the pod with the device and gently press down. The connection is magnetic, so it should snap into place on its own. Make sure the pod is seated properly — there should be no gaps, wobbling, or looseness. A bad connection means the pod won’t charge.
Find the charging port on the battery device — not the pod. The pod has no port. Insert your USB-C cable into the device’s port, then plug the other end into a power source.
A wall adapter (5V/1A or 5V/2A) works best, but a computer USB port or portable power bank will also work — just slower.
Once plugged in, the device should show you that it’s charging. Look for these signs:
- ✓An LED light turns on or starts blinking
- ✓A digital display screen (if your model has one) shows a battery icon or percentage
- ✓Some models may vibrate briefly or flash a certain color
At this point, the power bank is charging — and because the pod is attached, the pod’s internal battery is also charging in the background.
Charging times vary depending on your power source. Here’s what to expect:
45–60 min
75–90 min
During this time, the battery device stores energy, and the pod gets topped off automatically. You don’t need to remove the pod or do anything special. Just leave it connected.
The RAZ VUE 50K makes it easy to know when charging is done. Look for these indicators:
- ✓The LED light stops blinking and turns solid (often green or white)
- ✓The digital display shows 100% or a full battery icon
- ✓Some models turn off the charging light completely
Once fully charged, unplug the USB-C cable — you’re good to go.
Section 04
How to Tell When the Pod Is Charged (Since It Has No Screen)
This is a common question. The pod itself doesn’t have a battery indicator. Instead, you rely on the battery device’s display or lights.
If you want to double-check, take a few puffs. If vapor production feels strong and consistent, the pod has enough charge.

Section 05
Can You Use the RAZ VUE 50K While It’s Charging?
Yes — and this is a major convenience. The RAZ VUE 50K supports pass-through charging. That means you can:
- ✓Vape while the USB-C cable is still plugged in
- ✓Keep using the device without waiting for a full charge
- ✓Avoid downtime, especially if you’re a frequent user
Just be careful not to yank the cable while you’re vaping. Other than that, pass-through charging works perfectly fine and won’t damage the device.
Can You Charge the Pod Without the Battery Device?
No. There is no workaround. The pod has no charging port, no built-in USB connection, and no way to accept power on its own. It is designed exclusively to charge through the battery device.
If your pod battery dies, the only solution is to reconnect it to a charged power bank. If your power bank is dead, charge the power bank first. So if you lose or break the battery device, you effectively cannot use or charge the pod anymore. Always keep the two parts together.

Common Charging Problems and How to Fix Them
Sometimes things don’t go as planned. Here are the most common issues with the RAZ VUE 50K and how to fix them.
Possible causes: Poor connection, dirty contacts, or a faulty pod.
- Remove the pod and reattach it firmly — make sure the magnets click into place.
- Check for any debris or e-liquid on the metal contacts. Clean gently with a dry cotton swab.
Possible causes: Bad USB-C cable, dead power source, or damaged charging port.
- Try a different USB-C cable.
- Try a different wall adapter or USB port.
- Inspect the charging port on the battery device for lint or damage. Blow it out gently with compressed air if needed.
Possible causes: Pod not seated correctly, or magnets not engaging fully.
- Push the pod down until you feel a click.
- Check for cracks or damage on the pod or device.
- Clean both sets of contacts.
Possible causes: Normal heat generation, or using a fast charger not designed for the device.
- Slight warmth is normal. If it gets hot to the touch, unplug immediately.
- Use a standard 5V adapter. Avoid high-wattage fast chargers (30W or 65W) unless the device explicitly supports them.
